Autonomy

I will have to seize the moment. OfficeMax has a notebook for 400.00. even if I have to buy the software in 2 months and buy a case it is going to be more affordable than trying to buy onefrom the local guys. Iwish it weren't so. I really like the local computer guys. They promise me good tutorial help. ButI just can't afford all 800.00 up front. I have to be able to be online more easily than I am. I could be hooked up by Friday. I wouldn't need my brother's help. I would have... as the titiel suggests, autonomy.

I faster I get copy writing the happier I'll be. Oh the hotel is great for what it is. But it will never get me where I want to be. And I love to write. It is the gate to a world I have seen in visions. Besides... I can't be scared of these stupid things forever. i an go anywhere to do what Ineed to do with a laptop in my... um... lap. Why does that not sound as I intended?

Artful Blogging

It's out. The second edition of artful blogging is in my hand. I skipped right through to get to the meat and potatoes first. My desert was on the front page. Homework designed specifically for me. Somerset reader.
I can't wait. I know my blog isn't what I want it to be. but I have had my eye on this kind of homework for a while. When Somerset Studio first came out there was an illustrated story in front. It was my favorite part of the magazine for a long time. I don't know why they took it out. Rather i can't remember. But now there is a whole new venue dedicated to it. A good reason for me to get my but in gear no doubt. More than that... I can't wait to see what everyone else has been doing in this vein.
I'm all goosebumply.

One step closer

On Friday, I went boating with some friends from a healing arts group. We had a blast. During the ride the subject of my jewelry came up again. A friend is willing to trade me shiny rocks on a string for computer assistance so that I can finally post some photos of my artwork. I know I had hoped to put something together with the tech guy from the Library. I keep missing him or he is too busy to help.

Liz to the rescue!

I'll let you see what she got for helping me get out of the dark ages.
